The family that owns Great Wall are very nice and are very efficient taking orders over the phone. Next to Lotus ( a sit down over priced place) this is my go to take out/delivery Chinese food place in Hackensack! ”

I would definitely go back on my next holiday weekend. 01/05/2024 I had ordered for Christmas, New Years and today 01/05/2024 And consistently, got the same orders Spare Ribs with fried Rice Chicken and Broccoli with fried Rice Chicken Curry with onions Lunch menu and it’s well worth the price! The ribs, melt off your bone delicious especially when you get it when it’s freshly cooked! I even left it over night in my fridge the next day and yes it still was very good The chicken and Broccoli, I love it very much, reminds me of my old days living in Brooklyn NY ordering Chinese food Same for the chicken Curry, I’m not too familiar but it tastes very good I even ordered the 4 wings and pork fried rice, someone commented they only got 4 pieces of pork, I got more than that but what do you expect? It’s tiny pieces of pork not a thigh or something I even got their almond cookies, trust me, it’s light and not too sweet like most cookies are and satisfying your sweet tooth 03/01/24 Got my usual , I order this many times often Chicken Curry and onions and Chicken and Broccoli, both lunch menu and both very delicious, comes with fried rice and a soda Even got my favorite Almond Cookies, it’s light, not too sweet and delicious I definitely look forward to my next order 08/30/2024 I went and ordered my favorite, chicken and broccoli and tried something new, Szechuan chicken. It was very delicious! It says spicy but it’s not bad, if you are weak to spicy you can get it, it’s not that spicy. Kind of like Korean BBQ sauce. I got my favorite almond cookies as well, it’s not heavy sweet, it’s light sweet so even if you have diabetes, you can enjoy! Today, they even sold mini key chain figures, I had to buy 2 pandas, looks so cool I love coming here for food, it’s a family owned business and they are very nice people. I look forward to my next visit 10/04/2024 Definitely love the Szechuan chicken but my favorite also is the mini figurines, I love buying them. Not only are they cool looking, you can gift them to your loved ones and they will love it too 12/31/2024 Finishing off 2024 at my favorite Chinese restaurant in Hackensack New Jersey I ordered 4 Chicken Wings and pork fried rice specialty and Mongolian Beef. The chicken wings were nice and tender and the pork Fried Rice, very delicious and fresh The Mongolian beef with peppers and onions was also very delicious! If you’re in the mood for like Chinese version of a Philly cheesesteak without the cheese and bread, this is it. The Chinese sauce makes it very flavorful ”
“ Honestly not sure why this place doesn’t have higher reviews... maybe people weren’t happy with the timeliness of their service? All I have to say is this is the closest thing to quality American Chinese that I’ve managed to find in the area thus far. Wonton soup- they give you more wontons than typical. Egg drop soup- fantastic. Dumplings- are what dumplings are supposed to be (not including dim sum). Chicken and broccoli- chicken isn’t the best quality but even still, this is Chinese take out and the taste is totally there. At the end of the day I think the quality and taste of the food is way above sub par than typical Chinese takeout places. It seems from the reviews that some people think Chinese takeout should be some upscale or fine dining experience but if they know anything about Chinese take out, it’s supposed to be modest, affordable food with a large hint of msg. ”

“ Fried tofu (115 menu) very nice You must try this Crispy tofu. Their service was good too. Sweet and sour chicken was not what I thought. I expected something like orange chicken from panda express but the sauce was more watery. Good thing is they gives you free rice for each dishes. For take outs, they serve sauce and the fried food separately (sauce for sweet and sour chicken, not in d pic.) ”
